Annotation
The article aims at showing the significance and specific role of both hemispheres of the brain in various branches of philosophical knowledge. The functional asymmetry of the cerebral hemispheres in ontology, epistemology and applied philosophy is analyzed. The role of the right and left hemispheres in dialectical and metaphysical (anti-dialectical) thinking is shown on the example of the main and categories of dialectics. The article presents how a holistic picture of the world is formed and substantiates the thesis that of all sciences, it is in philosophy that the most effective organization of the work
of both hemispheres of the brain is used.
