Annotation
In the context of the transformation of modern politics, characterized by a departure from the traditional foundations of international political life with a simultaneously developing practice of relying on ephemeral “rules” rather than norms of international law, as well as in the conditions of domination in modern politics and in scientific research of the political orientation of the idea of postmodernism, based on the paradigmatic attitude of tolerance in methodological foundations, it acquires special relevance the study of cognitive (paradigmatic) foundations in modern political science studies of those processes, which are developing both in the context of a continuing critical attitude towards traditional value-oriented political science, and with ideological research becoming increasingly important. In the process of analyzing the information under study, the author comes to the conclusion about the inconsistency of the scientific value of the application of cognitive (paradigm) attitudes in modern political science research and in the study of issues characteristic of political and philosophical research, since the cognitive-paradigm approach often does not lead to the emergence of objective scientific knowledge, but helps to identify the causes of the emergence of new vectors in political processes.
