Annotation

The article analyzes the specific features and characteristics of the analysis of the phenomenon of social uncertainty through the prism of modern trends in sociological research, reflecting an interdisciplinary research synthesis. The article notes that sociologists proceed from the understanding of social uncertainty as a complex, contradictory and multifaceted phenomenon that both determines and reflects the dynamics of society’s development. The author emphasizes that sociological methodology, on the one hand, allows us to consider external conditions that affect the social organization, and on the other hand, to analyze the result of the relationship and interaction of all actors of the social system. It is concluded that it is possible to study uncertainty in the context of social time options. In the context of the analysis of social uncertainty, the concept of a social vector is used, which characterizes the polarity of directions and the mismatch of the modern social field and allows us to conclude that the level of uncertainty in society will increase sharply and unpredictably, followed by a relative decrease. The areas of manifestation of the vectors of social uncertainty are given, including: the economic and social environment, individual social groups and processes, public consciousness and human thinking. There is a departure in modern sociological methodology from a one-sided approach to objective social contradictions, as negative conditions and situations that require unambiguous overcoming.
