Annotation

The article discusses the concept of “linguo-cultureme” on the material of one linguistic unit. The purpose of this study is to examine the aesthetics and emotional content of the linguo-cultureme GARDEN as part of the author’s concept of novels “White Guard” and “The Master and Margarita” by M. Bulgakov. The cultural concepts that make up the structure of this universal linguocultureme and its verbalizers have been compared: topological description, names of plants, poeticism, the universality of the Christian world. The word garden, thanks to its precedent names and implicit evaluations, conveys the author’s intention of eternity and the life-affirming power of life. The expanded connotative field of garden as the semantic center of the novels is emotionally painted in tones of joy, uplift, solemnity.
