Annotation
The article deals with the world of people and the world of things, their correlation, interaction and interconnection. A retrospective review of the world of things from Antiquity to the 20th century is given. The essential characteristic of social interaction and its role in the modern world are determined. As an example, the activity of a social environmental project is given. Its structure, connections, forms of interaction are described. The significance of the project for the existence and development of society is substantiated. The principles of reasonable consumption and responsible attitude to society and nature are proposed. The relationship between a person’s attitude to material things and the way of his life in the society is given. The importance of active creative activity of a person is emphasized. The value of labor is proved. Alienated labor is described from the perspective of the consumer. The definition of the terms “indifferent consumption” and “disposable society” is given.
