Annotation
The article presents a project of the problem-discussion game “Balance of Justice”, aimed at developing the skills of rational argumentation when discussing complex social situations of individual and group interests clash. The game is designed to form a desire to develop a compromise solution, with which, for rational reasons, all interested parties
involved in the discussion could agree. The article develops the methodology of the game, outlines its main stages and procedural rules that participants must adhere to. The game is intended for a student audience and suggests the ability of participants to develop reflection and conscious setting of socially significant goals, as well as the development of rational means to achieve them. Such setting of goals is carried out in the context of philosophical and ideological ideas based on a particular concept of the public good. The positions of the participants in the discussion are determined by their adherence to a certain system of values and express a system of socio-political ideas. Thus, the participants of the discussion represent the political ideologies that are most influential in modern political processes: conservative,
liberal and social democratic. In the process of argumentation of their position, participants learn to develop the logic of political thinking and look for a rational solution to complex social problems. The problem of justice is one of the key topics of socio-political discourse and has a long history of discussion in the political sciences. The authors consider the problem of justice from the point of view of its didactic potential. Russian literature provides examples taken from the works of Russian literature, indicating that the theme of justice occupies an important place in Russian culture and Russian national identity. At the same time, the desire for justice is interpreted in the article as a universal regulator of social relations. The game “Balance of Justice” is divided into three stages, involving: (1) preliminary preparation, (2) the process of the game itself and (3) independent analysis by students of the results of the game, including self-assessment of the contribution of participants.
