Annotation
This article examines the specifics of traditional Japanese aesthetics, which has become an expression of national identity for the Japanese in the 21st century. The author
demonstrates how femininity, a fundamental feature of Japanese aesthetics, takes various forms, revealing the complexities and contradictions of contemporary Japanese culture. Through the analysis of contemporary Japanese art, current trends in the Japanese worldview are revealed.
