Annotation
This article examines Michel Foucault’s concept of heterotropy and its development in modern theater. The techniques of simultation in modern theater are investigated.
Special attention is paid to the analysis of simultaneous reality as a new type of stage reality, as well as to the consideration of verbatim technique and its role in the formation of a new documentary theater. The author explores the increased level of immersiveness in modern theater, as well as changes in the auditorium and stage spaces.
