Annotation

The problems of genealogy are becoming increasingly important in modern scientific research. They are closely related to the evolution of the social and humanitarian sciences, as well as to the clarification of ideas about the identity of Russia. The developed approach combines the universality of the methodological approach and the uniqueness of a specific study and is a philosophical generalization of the methodology of traditional genealogy. On the one hand, it expands the possibilities for studying ontological and epistemological problems in the social and humanitarian sciences. On the other hand, it provides illustrative material in a variety of areas of genealogical research due to the combination of different views on the same problems. Details of a specific family, its individual representatives, cultural and social environment, and features of the era are revealed from different sides, complementing and deepening each other. The genealogical trees of the Bible, the dynasties of the emperors of Ancient Rome of the 1st – 2nd centuries, the War of the Scarlet and White Roses, and some features of genealogical approaches in the culture of the Turkic peoples are considered as illustrations. The history of Russia is presented through its main bifurcation points. The use of the ontological genealogical framework allows expanding the genealogical approach from genealogy to a range that includes, on the one hand, the history of an individual, and, on the other, the evolution of state formations. The approach attracts well-tested methods of history, historiosophy, social synergetic, scientific biography, literary criticism, and hermeneutics as accompanying methods for studying various genealogical trees.
