Annotation

The article attempts to analyze the causes of the identity crisis among young people. Analyzing the concepts of identity, identification, the author comes to the conclusion that the identification process itself is also one of the causes of the crisis. Introducing the concept of self-determination instead of the usual terms, the author emphasizes the special role of value attitudes in overcoming the existing identity crisis.
