Annotation

The article examines the problem of finding a new role and place of the category of historical memory in the historical and political discourse of modern Russia. Separately, we consider the practices of commemorations peculiar to the Russian information space, expressing the policy of memory. The author, noting the change in the dynamics of memory, points out that the memorial model has prevailed over the historical one.
