Annotation
The article examines the phenomenon of labor within the framework of production and consumer processes. The philosophy of labor is broadly presented in scientific studies. The dynamics of the modern society transforms the content of labor practices. An analysis of the phenomenon of labor from the position of production and consumption is presented. The phenomenon is studied within the framework of the activity approach and materialistic ideology. The evolution of representations of labor practices in society is described. The specifics of labor in the sphere of production and consumption have been revealed. The global process of industrialization provides the strengthening of labor in society. Labor acquires new qualities and characteristics, its social significance changes and its value is rethought for the person and society. Capitalist society imposes on labor a series of essential deformations. The phenomenon of the alienation of labor is developing. The problem of labor
in a modern society of abundance is analyzed. Emphasis is placed on the consumer sphere. The axiological foundations of work are analyzed. The extreme form of consumer processes in society is defined as the “culture of throwing out” the results of labor. The content of work on the field of digital transformations in society is analyzed. An overview of world trends is given in part of the nature basis of labor. Describes the mutual influence of labor and the environment formed by it. A conclusion is made about the unjustified reduction of the role of labor in the structure of public relations.
