Annotation
The article presents the results of the study of meta-senses, which correlate with the cultural code of the nation. Having used a media geographical approach the authors
consider sociocultural constants: good, evil, love, hate — in the system of the mental landscape of Russia and different countries of the world. The authors analyze the dynamics of Internet users’ requests (according to the topics that mark these senses) in different countries one the base of big data. Particular attention is paid to the semantic nuances inherent in a cultural code, which makes it possible to identify the characteristic features of the nation at the present stage of its development. The results obtained indicate the anisotropy of mental landscapes (example: differences in understanding and consumption of the meanings of good and evil as key categories
of ethics in Russia, the USA, European countries), which must be taken into account in the practice of foreign policy communication and strategic planning.
