Annotation

The successes of modern China today are directly connected with the name of Confucius — the greatest Chinese thinker. Having passed a long historical path, the Confucian doctrine hasn’t lost none of its relevance, but also became the political and ethical guide of Chinese modernization. Despite its traditional character, Confucianism promoted the entry of China into the global world, and also its powerful economic growth and its significant role in the international community.
